Alison Antill, an Associate in the Dispute Resolution team of Ferbrache and Farrell LLP, has been admitted as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey.
Alison qualified as a solicitor in England before returning to Guernsey in 2018 and joining Ferbrache and Farrell LLP. She completed the Guernsey Bar exams in May this year, and the Certificat d’Etudes Juridiques Francaises et Normandes in October.
Since arriving in Guernsey, Alison has developed a broad practice in litigation and specialises in commercial, regulatory and trust disputes and insolvency matters.
‘I am delighted to be admitted as a Guernsey advocate, as it is something I have aspired to for many years, since my early work experience with local firms. The fused role of an advocate in Guernsey means we can offer an excellent service to clients engaged in litigation, both in dealing with the matter day to day and presenting their cases in court,’ said Alison.
‘Guernsey is a unique jurisdiction and I am honoured to be joining this highly-regarded group of lawyers. I am very grateful to the support of my family and colleagues in helping me to fulfil this ambition.’
