Martin Jones is a founding partner of Ferbrache & Farrell LLP. He has significant local and international experience, having practised for over 20 years. Prior to setting up Ferbrache & Farrell LLP, he practised commercial litigation in Guernsey at two leading international offshore law firms for almost 10 years.

Martin specialises in complex international financial services related disputes in an offshore environment. These include trust matters, compliance, regulatory and tax investigations, company and investment fund disputes, multi jurisdictional insolvency matters, asset tracing and contract and negligence claims. He also has substantial experience in property and construction disputes and dealing with employment, data protection and insurance related issues. His clients have included high net worth individuals and families, regulated businesses and directors of Guernsey companies.

He qualified as a solicitor of England and Wales in September 1999 and practised at Masons (now Pinsent Masons) and a boutique commercial litigation practice based in London before moving to the Cayman Islands in 2003 with the law firm Campbells. Martin relocated to Guernsey late in 2006. Martin was admitted as an Advocate of the Royal Court of Guernsey in 2012. Martin also regularly presents external and internal conferences and seminars and produces articles and briefings on various topics and issues of interest.
