HM Land Registry has just released its ‘Practice and Process’ publication for July 2024.
Clearly something of a bumper edition, we learn that no less than 16 practice guides have been amended (such as execution of deeds, powers of attorney, private trusts of land, and the determination of a lease by effluxion of time to name but a few).
In addition, we learn that there will be a process change with the introduction of a new form RXC that will deal with standard and non-standard restrictions with some additional information panels.
Whilst largely technical in nature, the practical effect of the changes will be to continue the HM Land Registry drive for streamlining and efficiencies, coupled with ease of access.
We in the UK Real Estate team look forward to incorporating the various adjustments into our practice management systems, thus ensuring our clients continue to receive the best possible service at all times.
If you need any further information or legal advice, including conveyancing of a property in England, please contact F&F LLP’s designated UKRE team led by Anna Douglass, Alastair Hargreaves, Caren Vidamour and Naledi Odiseng, who will be delighted to assist.
