Just 2 years after opening its doors, Ferbrache & Farrell is delighted with the recognition received following their first submissions in the latest editions of the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners legal directories.  The directories collect feedback from clients and industry insiders, together with analysis of a legal practice’s key cases and deals.

Building on a strong showing in last year’s directories, in the Legal 500, Ferbrache & Farrell’s corporate team was recognised as an “excellent team” that is “clearly of a high standard” and which was praised by clients for superb response and follow up times. The team was also recognised in the Investment Fund category with praise for being “very thorough and responsive” with “excellent knowledge of legal and regulatory issues”.

There was individual recognition for senior Corporate team members Gavin Farrell and Senior Associate Natalie Le Cras in the Corporate and M&A and Investment Funds categories. Gavin was named as Leading Individual in the Corporate and M&A sphere; the only Guernsey recipient of Hall of Fame status for Banking and Finance work and for Investment Funds and clients praised him as “the number one in the Channel Islands for his communication skills, commercial awareness and proactive attitude”.

Sources said the Dispute Resolution team “attracts the best talent”.

Counsel Adam Cole was also highlighted as a Next Generation Lawyer and praised for being “commercially astute”.

In Chambers & Partners, Gavin was recognised as one of the only two Band 1 lawyer for Corporate & Finance including Investment Funds.  Gavin received praise from clients for his “razor-sharp mind, technical savvy and commercial awareness”.

There was also recognition for Adam Cole as the only “Associate to Watch” in the Guernsey Dispute Resolution market.  Adam received client praise for being “extremely polite, genuine and hard-working</em>”; “a pleasure to work with”, and for bringing “a commercial and pragmatic approach.”

Managing Partner, Alastair Hargreaves commented These excellent results demonstrate that we are achieving the client service we set out to provide. Such positive feedback from our clients and the recognition of key individuals is testament to the hard work and dedication within the firm.  I very much look forward to us building on these solid foundations in 2019”.
