We are pleased to welcome compliance analyst Jake Baxter to the F&F LLP compliance team.

Jake brings extensive experience in regulatory frameworks, financial crime prevention, and risk management. His arrival reinforces our commitment to maintaining strong compliance practices across all areas of our legal work in Guernsey.

Guernsey is recognised as a leading international finance centre, and law firms play a central role in maintaining its reputation for transparency and integrity. Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance is a legal and ethical obligation that ensures our clients, transactions, and business relationships are subject to rigorous due diligence and monitoring. Effective AML procedures build public trust and uphold international standards.

At F&F LLP, we maintain a proactive AML approach that includes:

• A risk-based compliance framework

• Enhanced due diligence for high-risk and international clients

• Regular staff training and awareness programmes

• Alignment with standards set by FATF and MONEYVAL

Jake’s role will be supporting our growing team by overseeing and refining AML compliance procedures, providing staff training and regulatory guidance and collaborating on strategic risk decisions to ensure our firm meets constantly evolving regulatory expectations.

His expertise will be instrumental in advancing our compliance capabilities and maintaining best-in-class standards across our practice.
